Bistro Tables – Comfy and Classy

by admin on August 14, 2010

Bistro tables were designed for the cafes and bars in France. They are made small to conserve space and provide an intimate setting. Their size will allow three people to sit, but usually this will be cramped.

Bistro tables are made of wood, iron, ceramic, plastic, glass table tops, or a combination of these materials. They are made for both commercial and residential use. Bistro tables are often found in sets with matching chairs. Bistro tables are most commonly either square or round. However, there are a wide variety of designs and they can be custom made to suit your needs. Bistro tables vary from fairly plain and simple to very intricately detailed works of craftsmanship. They can be designed to go with any décor.

In my opinion, one of the best bistro sets I ever saw was made of wrought iron frame with a wine barrel that also doubled as a cooler. The chairs were wooden seats and wrought iron frame. Not only was this very unique and classy, but it was also very practical. There are many furniture designers that do design practicality and function ability to beautiful contemporary style. Accessories for bistro tables can also accentuate the character of the set. Bistro tables can range in price from fairly inexpensive to very expensive and all of the in between.

One of the best things about bistro table sets is that they provide a decorative touch to a very necessary piece of furniture, regardless of the size of your kitchen or dining area. Bistro sets are perfect for inside small apartments or condominiums. They are great for single people and couples because the actual size of the table is small it is easier to clean. It is also easier to sit at for some people who feel alone whether single or their significant other is just not there.

They can also be for outdoors such as balconies, porches, patios, and even gardens for residential users. You can find bistro tables designed to accommodate umbrellas too. Businesses can utilize them in more ways than just pubs and restaurants. For example, salons can use them to add a classy touch to areas for nails, giving enough space to work but fostering a quiet intimate ambiance. Also, many businesses can utilize them for rest spots, so their customers can sit down possibly have a cold drink, and spend more time shopping.
